Tori recognized her desire to be a Physiotherapist at a young age; throughout her life, she has been very active and sought Physiotherapy for her own injuries of which always resulted in a positive outcome. Tori graduated from the University of Manitoba, School of Medical Rehabilitation, with her Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation, Physiotherapy in 2010. She is a dedicated Physiotherapist with 10+ years of experience in a Private Practice setting.
Tori has pursued many continuing education courses as she feels staying up to date with current Physiotherapy research is important to her and the benefit of her patients.
Tori has received her Acupuncture, Dry Needling, and Graston Myofascial Treatment Technique Certifications. In 2017, Tori achieved her certification in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy. Also, taking extra courses in Pregnancy and Post- Partum Women’s Health, as this topic is a special interest of hers.
Most recently in 2019, Tori studied Pediatric NDT (Neurodevelopmental Treatment) focusing on helping children achieve their motor milestones (crawling, sitting, standing, walking etc.) due to developmental delays pertaining to all children, as well as, those with diagnoses such as (Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Premature birth and so on). Tori is interested in taking more Pediatric courses in the future.
Tori worked from her home Physiotherapy office from 2012-2018. With a growing clientele and demand for Wellness, alongside her husband, Tori has opened Fit 4 Life Physiotherapy & Wellness Centre in Winnipeg, MB in April of 2018. We feel living an active and healthy lifestyle is crucial to our overall well-being and want to help others have the tools to do so in their own neighbourhood.
When she isn’t working, she can be found spending time with her family! They love the outdoors, especially spending summers at their family cottage in the Whiteshell.
