Tori recognized her desire to be a Physiotherapist at a young age; throughout her life, she has been very active and sought Physiotherapy for her own injuries of which always resulted in a positive outcome. Tori graduated from the University of Manitoba, School of Medical Rehabilitation, with her Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation, Physiotherapy in 2010. She is a dedicated Physiotherapist with 15 years of experience in a Clinic setting.

Tori has pursued many continuing education courses as she feels staying up to date with current Physiotherapy research is important to not only her but to the benefit of her patients.

Tori has received her Acupuncture, Dry Needling, and Graston Myofascial Treatment Technique Certifications. In 2017, Tori achieved her certification in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy. Also, taking extra courses in Pregnancy and Post- Partum Women’s Health, as this topic is a special interest of hers.

In 2019, Tori studied Pediatric NDT (Neurodevelopmental treatment) focusing on helping children achieve their motor milestones (crawling, sitting, standing, walking etc.) due to developmental delays pertaining to all children, as well as those with diagnoses such as (Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Premature birth and so on). Tori has since taken other Pediatric courses about motor milestones, torticollis & plagiocephaly, and gait (walking pattern). This was through Kids Physio Group.

She is truly passionate about Pediatric Physiotherapy. Her oldest son, Kanan (“Kay-nan”) who is now 6 was born with Down Syndrome. She wanted to learn what she could do specifically to help him. She’s pleased to offer this service now to other families. “Our son has truly made us all better people, the entire extended family really. Motor milestones may take him a little longer, but when he achieves a milestone, you can bet we all jump a little higher!”. His smile is contagious, he doesn’t fret the small stuff, and the love is constant and unconditional.

Tori worked from her home Physiotherapy office from 2012-2018. With a growing clientele and demand for Wellness, Tori opened Fit 4 Life Physiotherapy & Wellness Centre in beautiful East St. Paul, MB in April of 2018. She feels living an active and healthy lifestyle is crucial to our overall well-being and want to help others have the tools to do so in their own neighbourhood.

When she isn’t working, she can be found in the yoga studio, walking the dogs, biking and relaxing in the summer sun.

Most of the time she is enjoying spending with her 3 children. The “K Squad” is what the trio is known to be called.

She still has her 2 home therapy dogs (home office era). Gracie & Peanut are 10 and 12.

“Take care of your body and it will take care of you!”
