Deanna was also one of four students chosen to join the New York Rangers medical team for a one week internship during the winter of 2018.
Demonstrating her knowledge and expertise, Deanna successfully challenged the Canadian Athletic Therapist Association’s National Certification Exam in January of 2021, earning her the status of Certified Athletic Therapist in the subsequent March.
Continuing her pursuit of knowledge, Deanna embarked on a path of advanced education, culminating in the completion of her Master of Sports Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh in June 2023.
